Our Commitment
Nightingale-Conant Corporation wants everyone to be able to use our website, our audio programs and our customer services, including people with disabilities. This page explains where our website stands today, what we are fixing, and how to get help right now.
Our Goal
We are working to make this website meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The website does not fully meet that standard yet.
Where We Are Today
In October 2026 we checked every type of page on this website with automated accessibility tools and with keyboard-only testing. We found these problems, and we are fixing them now:
- Low-contrast text. Some smaller text, such as breadcrumbs, track lengths, captions and a few links, is lighter than the standard allows and can be hard to read.
- Keyboard focus. On the home page carousel and on the Listen page, keyboard focus can land on an item you cannot see, or is not clearly shown.
- Page not found. When a link is broken, our "page not found" page moves you to another page after a few seconds, which may not leave enough time to read it.
- Small screens. At very narrow widths or high zoom, some pages need sideways scrolling.
- Image descriptions. A small number of program cover images do not have a text description.
- Audio previews. The free audio samples and previews on our product and Listen pages do not yet have text transcripts.
- Screen-reader details. A few controls, such as the sample player button, do not yet tell screen readers when they change state.
We will update this page when these fixes are released. We have not yet tested the website with screen readers and other assistive technologies in a structured way; we plan to do so as part of this work.
Our Audio Programs
The programs you buy are standard MP3 files that play in any media player you choose, including accessible players. If you need a program in another format, or a transcript of a program you have purchased, contact us and we will do our best to provide it at no charge.
How to Get Help or Report a Problem
If any part of our website, a program or checkout is hard for you to use, please tell us. We can help you find a program, place an order or reach your downloads another way.
- Use our contact form. It helps if you include the page address, what you were trying to do, and any assistive technology you use.
- Write to us at: Nightingale-Conant Corporation, Accessibility Team, 1449 S Michigan Ave, Suite 13181, Chicago, IL 60605, USA.
We aim to reply to accessibility requests within 3 business days, and to resolve a specific access request within 10 business days where we can.
Third-Party Content and Services
Some parts of the shopping experience come from other companies that we do not control, such as the Shopify checkout, payment providers and Audible. If you have trouble with one of them, please still contact us and we will help you complete what you were trying to do.
Formal Feedback and Complaints
To file a formal complaint or raise an unresolved issue, contact us by either method above and put "Accessibility Complaint" in your message. We will review it and reply with what we found and what we will do.
Updates to This Page
We will update this page as fixes are released and when our testing changes. The "Last Updated" date at the top shows the most recent change.
