Dr. Carl Aylen is a former Cambridge University professor and the founding principal of The Cambridge Don, a management consulting and research firm specializing in thinking processes and organizational development. Dr. Aylen earned a First Class Honors B.Sc. in engineering from Bath University of Technology (U.K.) and went on to complete a Ph.D. in qualitative analysis research. He was awarded an Imperial Chemical Industries Post-Doctoral Fellowship in 1969 and later served as a co-founder of the Martin Centre at Cambridge University in 1973. In 1974, the Cambridge University Senate honored him with an Honorary M.A. in recognition of his contributions to the institution and the field.
